The freehold of Cooplands Bakery in Main Street, Northallerton, has been sold in a deal believed to be worth about £800,000.
York estate agent Claude H Elmer, brokered the deal, which will see a lighting shop opening on the site. Cooplands has moved to the former premises of Bettys in the Main Street and Bettys has moved to an even larger building nearby.
