Selby guaranteed their Yorkshire 1 League status for next season with a 28-3 victory at Dinnington.
Selby had the rare luxury of starting with their selected XV.
Dinnington took the lead in the 33rd minute when Selby were caught offside in front of their posts, David Marsden kicking the penalty.
After soaking up pressure for 35 minutes, Selby stormed back to lead 12-3 at the interval.
In the 36th minute Selby won a five metre scrum and skipper Andrew Pocklington picked up the ball to touchdown at full stretch for his second try of the season. Dan Porter's conversion attempt failed.
A minute later a successful scrum on the Dinnington ten metre line enabled scrum half Mathew Smith to pick up and ghost his way through the Dinnington defence to touch down under the posts. Dan Porter kicked the conversion.
Selby started the second half with prop Paul Gabel replacing Mark Tomlinson.
Porter kicked a penalty for Selby in the 50th minute after Dinnington were penalised for an off the ball incident.
Three minutes later Selby were down to 14 men when hooker Shane Sellers was yellow carded for killing the ball.
With Sellers back on, Selby increased their lead in the 65th minute. The forwards stole the ball on the Dinnington 15 metre line and Smith picked up and went over for his second try. Porter missed the conversion, but two minutes later landed a penalty.
Richard Nicholson replaced Kevin Lowery in the 74th minute and in the 76th minute Toby Pemberton broke away and fed winger Sam Weller, who went in at the corner for his first league try for Selby. Porter's conversion kick hit the post.
There is no scheduled fixture next Saturday. Selby will play the already relegated Yarnbury at Sandhill Lane on Saturday, April 23.
