Graham Lee, who, this afternoon was aboard Amberleigh House in a bid to win the Grand National for a second straight year, returns to bread-and-butter fare tomorrow at Hexham's run-of-the-mill Sunday meeting.
Lee, who enjoyed a ride to savour when winning the Betfair Bowl Chase at Aintree on Thursday on Grey Abbey, should not be left empty-handed after his trip to the Northumberland venue, where his mounts include Polyphon in the 'At The Races' Novices' Chase.
Although not the easiest of horses to win with, Polyphon possesses plenty of ability, and his consistent record this term suggests he is more than capable of winning this modest contest.
Pendle Forest, who came good at Carlisle last time, can follow-up in the Durapipe Novices' Handicap Hurdle.
Richard Fahey's charge had a length and a quarter to spare over runner-up Bywell Beau at Carlisle and, over the same trip of two and a half miles, merits respect here.
Lord Rodney, an all-the-way winner at Wetherby on his latest start, is another local horse chasing a supplementary victory.
Peter Beaumont's gelding never looked like being reeled-in on his latest outing and crossed the line with eight lengths to spare. It is likely similar positive tactics will be employed tomorrow.
Tim Easterby sends recent course winner Bollin Annabel back to Hexham to attempt a repeat win in the 'At The Races' Handicap Hurdle.
She has an extra half-mile to travel, and the longer distance should be in her favour, judged on the way she stayed on to account for her rivals over two miles last time. She is awarded the nap vote.
At Worcester, Ask The Umpire, a runaway winner at Chepstow last month, is fancied to follow-up in the Bernard Owen Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Chase.
