PLAYER of the week Cameron Atkinson grabbed a hat-trick of tries for York RUFC Under-8s in an 8-7 victory over tourists Burton-on-Trent.
Oliver Leedham also crossed the line three times with Eddy Stephen touching down twice.
The second game saw York run out 4-2 winners thanks to tries from James Field, Rhys Whitby, Ben Whitmore and Toby Courtis.
York U9s triumphed 8-0 with Campbell Thompson powering over twice and Will Pepper claiming the try of the match.
The second team defeated Burton 7-2 thanks to Oliver Inman's hat-trick and other efforts from Jack Mead, Sebastian Dobson and Phil Dalton.
Pocklington Under 15s and U14s meet St Ives, on tour from Cambridgeshire, at Percy Road tonight
