A STAR search has been launched by former Sunday outfit Wigginton Football Club.
After more than three decades of competitive football, the York Sunday Morning League team folded, but to celebrate its passing a reunion has been organised at York Racecourse on November 26.
More than 150 tickets at £30 apiece have already been sold for the special reunion dinner of a club for which more than 300 players featured during its 31 years of play.
However, the organisers are finding difficulty in tracing several of the older club mainstays.
If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of Stuart Clark, Richard Black, Rob Littler, Steve Cook, Dave Todd, Brian Dunn or Steve Robinson, they can contact Barrie Shipley tel York 761809, Colin McLorg on York 490910 or Dave Clapham on York 639120.
