FOR the next four weeks we will be hearing nothing but spin from the Labour Party, so think of Labour's six pledges and these six reasons not to vote for them:
1. Invading Afghanistan and Iraq - around 100,000 dead;
2. Erosion of civil liberties with house arrests and the proposed introduction of ID cards
3. Foundation hospitals
4. Attacks on public sector pensions
5. Student tuition fees
6. Privatisation of public services
When considering voting for Hugh Bayley, York's present MP, remember he voted for all of the above.
Since 1997 he has only voted twice against the Government in a total of 1,820 votes.
