HARROGATE Town took a giant stride towards the Nationwide North play-offs with a 2-1 victory over lowly Bradford Park Avenue at Wetherby Road last night.
Two-goal Danny Holland was the hero after Avenue had taken a shock 44th minute lead with a fine solo goal from Steve Oleksewycz.
Holland equalised two minutes after the interval with a great shot and just 60 seconds later Lee Nogan's cross was converted by Holland for his 14th Town goal of the season.
The result meant that Avenue were relegated to the UniBond League.
Town's victory has seen them move six points clear of play-off rivals Altrincham, who were held 1-1 by Hucknall last night.
