YORKSHIRE lost the last three wickets of their first innings to a hat-trick by left-arm paceman Jason Lewry on the second and final day of their friendly against Sussex at Hove on Tuesday.
Lewry bowled Tim Bresnan and pinned David Lucas lbw with the last two deliveries of his 18th over and with the first ball of his next over he rattled Mark Lawson's stumps to finish with 5-29 as Yorkshire were bowled out for 210 to trail by ten runs.
Yorkshire's bowlers struggled to make an impact in the Sussex second innings with openers Mike Yardy and Richard Montgomerie putting on 80 in a total of 135-2 before the game ended in a draw.
