MICHELLE CREASER has been appointed manageress of Ryedale Travel in Pocklington.
Michelle, pictured, who celebrates 16 years with Ryedale Travel in May, succeeds Trevor Williams, who left the company after almost 20 years service.
It will be her task to continue a legacy of high standards which has seen the Railway Street company as a regular finalist in the annual Travel Agent of the Year Awards.
It has also won the Yorkshire and North East England award on two separate occasions.
Mother-of-two Michelle said that there were members of staff who had been with the company for even longer than herself.
"Clients like continuity and they appreciate the benefit of dealing with knowledgeable staff," she said.
