I HAVE been following York City for the past year and I am a new supporter.
Jon Maloney was a good defender and a great help to York City. It is a shame that he had to go back to his club Doncaster Rovers.
He stopped goals from going in, scored a few goals, made few mistakes and he didn't keep the ball, he passed it.
Paul Groves gets tired too quickly and he does not seem to be passing his experience on to younger players.
My favourite players are Darren Dunning, Graeme Law, Dave Merris and Lev Yalcin because they never give up and they always think positive.
Byron Webster is a good footballer to say that he is only 17-years-old. Under Billy McEwan's management he will have a great future in football.
McEwan is a good manager and he always says things how they are. Now that Maloney has gone back to Doncaster, Lee Grant should have a turn in the first team.
I wish Billy McEwan all the best for the rest of the season and hopefully he can rebuild York City into a team old and new supporters deserve.
My Cirty line-up would be: Porter, Law, Grant, Davis, Davies, Yalcin, Donovan, Dunning, Merris, Bishop, Robinson. Subs: Webster, Robinson, Stockdale.
