WITH his reputation as a disciplinarian well documented I am surprised that York City manager Billy McEwan allows City keeper Chris Porter to wear his goalkeeper's sweater outside his shorts in the style of Andy Fordham the 30-stone darts player.
While Porter's form has been excellent this season, his appearance gives the impression of that of an outfield player pressed into service at seconds notice to stand-in for the regular keeper, and with the capable David Stockdale eagerly awaiting a first team recall, I would politely suggest that in his own interests Chris rectifies the situation sooner rather than later.
