Knaresborough Town Ladies FC missed out on a place in the Yorkshire Plate final after losing 3-0 to Bradford in the semi-final.
Town 'keeper Penny Davies had an excellent game but was judged to have taken player before ball on 35 minutes and Bradford took advantage from the penalty spot.
Charlie Blythe's run and shot nearly brought Town level and Helen Wood had a similar chance but Bradford scored a second before the break.
A lacklustre second half saw Town concede a third after being caught out pushing forward.
They must now bounce back on Sunday when they play Scarborough in the league a match that could decide second place.
