Bartle and Richard Crowther also put their side on the road to a 7-3 win over York RI 'B'.
York RI 'C' gave Coneysthorpe 'A' a fight before losing 6-4.
Mike Fenby and Charles Allenby each won twice for Coneysthorpe with Jill Rounce responding for the Institute.

Phil Hall was unbeaten as Northern Electric beat York RI 'D' 7-3, while Chris Armstrong won all three for Poppleton 'C' in a 6-4 victory against BT 'A'.
Despite having only a two-man team, BT 'B' sank Groves WMC 'C' 7-3, while Tom Weeden won all three for York RI 'E' in a 7-3 victory over Groves WMC 'C'.
Bootham CC 'C' are just six points away from the division three title after their 10-0 win over Shepherds 'C'.
Coneysthorpe 'B' also beat Shepherds 'B' 10-0 and three wins from Daniel Foxton also helped them to a 7-3 win over Shepherds 'A'.
Nathan Horsley and Dom Ainger each won three for York RI 'G' in a 8-2 win over York RI 'F'.
Division four leaders Groves WMC 'D' lost 6-4 to Poppleton 'F', Tom Wright and Jon Soanes each winning three for Poppleton, who should finish in second place.
Sessions 'C' were held 5-5 by two-man Shepherds 'D'. Alan Milner won all three for Shepherds and took another treble to help his side defeat bottom-team Poppleton 'G' 6-4.
Laurence Hoolison was unbeaten for York RI 'J' in a 6-4 win over Norwich Union 'B'.
Luke Blackburn and Chris Megone starred as York RI 'H' beat Nestl Rowntree 'B' 8-2.
