PICKERING Town and Goole are both aiming to resolve a weekend of league misery with the chance of cup success tonight.
The Pikes are hoping to welcome back Mark and Steve Swales from injury, with Rob Eeles also returning to strengthen the side for their NCEL President's Cup semi-final replay at Buxton.
Goole boss Paul Marshall, meanwhile, is facing a dilemma over whether to rest his more experienced campaigners in the NCEL League Cup quarter-final replay against Hallam ahead of their crucial league encounter with Sheffield on Saturday, or go for the win to avoid two successive defeats.
Jimmy Gore is suspended all week, although Adam Walker and Graham Whitehead are both available and Ian McLean has rejoined from Ossett Albion.
