IN 1970 I was involved in the choosing, ordering and return of technical reports and memoranda from the Technical Research department of British Rail at the Derb unit.
One report was about asbestosis and its implications.
I was appalled and incensed to read about Colin Ridley, right, one of York Carriagework's youngest victims of asbestosis at only 36 years old.
This is a dereliction of duty and the opposite of duty of care.
