Why is the invisible Hugh Bayley, Labour MP for York, not saying very much?
Is it me missing comments or his media machine is keeping quiet?
There have been some interesting activities and plans going on, such as: the university planning to double in size; the possibility of an airfield at Elvington; new housing in Osbaldwick; the Ascot meeting in York; parking charges; huge buses coming to York; and gridlock of the city streets. I could go on.
I know most of the subjects are the city council's responsibility, but I should have thought our political representative would have something to say on how his city is run.
There could be two reasons why there is not much comment
1. There are not many votes in campaigning for the protesters
2. He is maybe trying to sort out alternative employment somewhere in the Africa as Mr Boetang has done, because of an imminent review of his position by his employers the York electorate.
