AFTER just mising out on promotion last season, division two aces Heslington look certainties this term after beating one of their main rivals Amotherby 2-1.
Two rare headed goals from Dan Walters did the trick for the hosts. James Baxter pulled one back for Amotherby whose challenge is faltering as they have failed to win in their last four games.
Tockwith made it 17 games since a defeat after they beat Elvington 1-0, Andy Wilson getting the lone goal.
Third-placed Ouseburn had to come from behind twice to draw 2-2 at home to Riccall.
Jason Roughley put the visitors in front two minutes before the break and though the hosts levelled soon after, Stuart Ross reinstated their lead within four minutes. Two minutes from time Ouseburn found another equaliser.
Relegation-haunted Stillington slumped 3-1 at home to Fulford.
Dave Aldridge, scoring for the fifth consecutive game, gave Fulford the lead and though that goal was cancelled out by Wayne Linton, Fulford recorded their sixth game without a defeat with goals from Ben Bailey and Gary Radcliffe.
Barmby Moor threw the form-book away as they recorded their first home win in five attempts.
They beat White Horse - unbeaten in their last five away games - 3-1.
Two goals from veteran John Peacock gave the hosts the advantage at the break, and despite being reduced to ten men, White Horse immediately cut the deficit with a Lenny Mason goal. Tom Gibson hit the vital third for Barmby Moor five minutes from time.
