It is a rich reward for the sort of clever thinking, risk taking and determination which marks out all the best entrepreneurs. The TV show Dragon's Den knew the Dream Machine would be a hit from the moment its York creators pitched the idea.
If the device lulls fractious infants into the land of nod, millions of parents will not begrudge the Wigginton whiz-kids a penny of their profits.
