Coun Janet Looker must be the best Lord Mayor York ever.

Every time you see pictures of her in the Press she always has a smile on her face and seems she enjoys everything she does.

I had the pleasure of meeting her last year when I came back to Bell Farm and we had a good old natter.

I hope she has kept a big scrap book of all her newspaper pictures so she can look back on what a great time she had being Lord Mayor of York, itself a great honour. Good luck for the future, you will be a hard act to follow.
