KELLY Rainton played a stormer as Holgate beat York John Smith's Ladies Darts League division one front runners Cueball 'B'. Anne Smith-Mitch Robertson snatching the win.
Second placed Cygnet 'A' also lost out as Flag's Sharon Neads included a maximum in the deciding leg for Sarah Jackson.
Cygnet 'C' are gaining on the top two, with Roz Kerr including a maximum as they beat Blacksmiths 7-2.
Leeman 'B's Ruth Laverack-Toni Smallwood were also last-gasp winners at Slip 'A'.
Independent put in a good all round team performance to see off Slip 'B'.
Dringhouses match-winners were Hazel Richardson-Carol Brayshaw at Clifton 'A'.
Shepherd 'A' go top in division two after a 6-3 win against Sun 'B', but Burnholme slip into second place as Clifton 'B's Angie Blackmore-Debbie Benson secured the match.
Tap's match winners were Yvette Shephard-Louise Icton against Jubilee. Sun 'A's final pairing Sally Swales-Kath Williams shone to defeat Severus whose Sue Richardson-Jackie Simpson had levelled.
In division three, Woolpack bounced back after a couple of defeats to secure their win at Leeman 'A' within the singles. Leaders Leeman 'C' had Mary Dodsworth-Margaret Haley securing them the 5-4 win against Leeman 'D'.
Turf's Jo Whitty prevented Cueball 'A' from clearing the table, and Volunteer 'A' silenced St Clements' belles.
Volunteer 'B' were taken to the wire by Shepherds but Vollies captain Joan Knowles-Michelle Kelly secured victory.
Several teams are looking for new players for the summer season.

Escrick Sports Club are to host a Double Board Darts Competition on Easter Monday (March 28).
The winner will receive £100, with £50 to the runner-up. Entry fee is £2.50 per player and competitors are asked to register by 1.45pm on the day for a 2pm prompt start.
