Haxby United edged out Wigginton Grasshoppers in a tight Leeper Hare York and District League premier division derby battle.
Wigginton opening the scoring inside 46 seconds but Haxby, with only one win in their last ten games, equalised through Ian Ferguson then Richard Iggulden hit the winner to push Haxby a couple of places up the table.
Kartiers' last four away games have all been settled by a single goal and the short trip to Thorpe United proved to be no different, Simon Winstanley's goal giving Kartiers victory.
The top clash in division one was at Nestl Rowntree where the hosts ensured that they would finish in the top two after a 2-1 win over visitors Hamilton Panthers.

Post Office's earlier goals came from Andy Bonarius, Matty Graham and a header from Richard Wells.
Second-placed Tockwith stretched their division two unbeaten run to 16 games after they beat third-placed Ouseburn 2-0.
Both their goals came from Graham Hutchinson in the space of five minutes, the first a thunderous volley, the second after a goalmouth scramble.
Leaders Heslington needed to display an abundance of patience before finally breaking down a stubborn Barmby Moor defence.
Scoring duo Danny Walters and Simon Musgrave earned the points for Heslington. Moor's reply came from Will Steel.
Stillington's survival hopes are alive after a surprise 4-3 win at White Horse Church Fenton, where Steve Johnson (2), Spencer Martin and Paul Rhodes were on target. Lenny Mason (2) and Simon Aston scored for the hosts.
A Tudor Carrington hat-trick helped set up LNER Builders first win in six games in division three as they beat Heworth 4-2.
Builders' other scorer was Wes Evans, while Ben Brannigan, with his 12th of the season, and Dan Walton replied for Heworth.
Cawood's recent revival was stopped at Norton where they went down to a Chris Seager first half goal.
