I AGREE with Billy McEwan on two points. Firstly, you can't run a football club without a reserve team, and secondly there is money in York and always has been.
The business fraternity in York has never rushed to the aid of the local football club for as long as I can remember. It makes me wonder why Nestl have shown an interest after all these years.
The good citizens of York have walked the streets trying to save the football club, now they are going to have to do it all over again to raise £30 million to save the Minster, which, like KitKat Crescent, is in need of urgent repair and is on prime building land.
When we sign players that, for various reasons, all of a sudden don't want to remain at the club, how much does it cost to pay off their remaining contracts?
