Former professional star Glenn Naylor went from hero to villain for Marcia in their York FA Sunday Senior Cup tie against Derwent United.
Minutes after putting Marcia 1-0 up, the one-time York City and Darlington striker was sent off for foul and abusive language.
Derwent equalised through Jamie Hopwood but David Allison saved Naylor's embarrassment with a winner direct from a corner.
Cup kings Hounds lived up to their billing, coming back from 2-0 down to beat Ainsty Panthers 6-2.
Mark Willoughby and a Des Hewitson penalty put Hounds ahead before Danny Crowther and Andrew Cygan levelled in the second half.
But it was Alan Jackson's extra-time hat-trick that proved decisive, substitute Daniel Rhodes getting the sixth.
Bay Horse (Tadcaster) took the lead against Skelton in their York FA Sunday Junior Cup semi-final when Matthew Nicholls beat the 'keeper from ten yards.
But Skelton turned it round to win 3-1 in extra time, goals coming from Neil Holmes (2) and Jack Coates.
In the final, they will face Selby Olympia Reserves, who mauled Shoulder of Mutton 4-0. Matthew Muscroft (2), Ryan Chadwick and David Petch scored.
The York FA Sunday Afternoon Cup will be a scholarly affair with York St John's going through to face College of Law.
St John's beat Turf on penalties after drawing 2-2 after extra time. A Turf own goal, combined with a solo Richard McGough effort, put St John's 2-0 up before Tim Hudson and Christopher Sparkes equalised. St John's 'keeper John King saved two spot-kicks as they won 4-1.
College of Law beat Melbourne 2-0 with Lionel Doyle and Conor McGuire breaking the deadlock in the last ten minutes.
Real Cliffe were too strong for Barlby Raiders in the York FA Senior Minor Cup semi-finals as they won 3-0 with two own goals and one for Thomas Hogg.
Wigginton Grasshoppers took an early lead thanks to a Callum Tyson lob in their York FA Junior Minor Cup semi-final, but Rawcliffe hit back to win 3-1. Josh Dyson headed an equaliser before two own goals sealed the win.
Poppleton dominated plucky Copmanthorpe to win 4-0 with George Riley (2), Joe Dale and Adam Ferguson on target.
