WHOLE Lotta Metal has a message for today's processed cheese pop acts. We are here to remind you what a live rock concert used to mean: two hours of metal mayhem.
Harking back to the wild days of the Monsters Of Rock, the tribute show revels in the "live and loud headbangin' hits" of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden and Guns N' Roses at the Grand Opera House, York, on Thursday at 7.30pm.
Building on the momentum of last year's tour, Whole Lotta Love returns with the same formula of one band and three singers: Tony Martin, from Black Sabbath and The Cage; Carl Sentence, of Krokus and Persian Risk; and Matt Moreton, of T-R-F, Blaze and Phenomena.
In the line-up are lead guitarists Andy Shortland, of Phenomena, and Loud Man's Dave Bishop; Symphonic keyboard player Simon Wright and drummer Karl Smalley; and Phenomena bassist Rich Lymn.
Tickets cost £15 on 0870 606 3590.
