NEW Earswick All Blacks could lose top spot in Pennine League division two this weekend.
The All Blacks are without a game giving Kippax Welfare the chance to return to the top by two points should they beat mid-table Silsden Park Rangers, putting the pressure back on the York side who will have two games in hand.
Third-placed Newsome Panthers are likely to push their promotion claims too as they face Stainland Stags, whom the All Blacks hammered 74-0 last week.
York Acorn 'A' face arguably their most vital league game of the season as they visit fellow table-toppers Undercliffe needing a win to get back in pole position in the division four title race.
Acorn beat third-placed Wyke last week to all but end their title hopes and need to follow-up against a side who are level on points with them but with a game in hand.
York Groves' battle to beat the drop in division five brings a tough test at home to West Craven Warriors, and they will be hoping local rivals Wetherby Bulldogs will do them a favour by beating second-bottom Cowling Harlequins.
