YOUR front page report about Appeal Court justice makes me reflect on the way our society is going.
It is very sad that people have lost confidence in judges and the legal system.
This seems to be a widespread concern when talking to people in the street.
I am not surprised by the deterioration of the conduct of many considering what is put on television as acceptable viewing. Violence has become a natural form of entertainment for millions of people every night.
I was a big supporter of Mary Whitehouse in her years of campaigning for good quality standards in society, whether on television or elsewhere.
We are now seeing all she prophesised. Society is on a downward slope and some of it now in the papers for all to see.
