JOE Dey scored a second-half hat-trick as New Earswick ARL Club's U12s booked a Yorkshire Cup semi-final place by winning 24-10 at Shawcross Sharks.
Connor Thirlway scored All Blacks' try as they trailed 6-4 at the break, but they hit back with Adam Johnson also crossing and Dean Layton adding two conversions.
It was a fierce game with some controversial refereeing which saw the All Blacks reduced to 11 men, centre Liam Dawson and loose-forward Joel Johnson being sent off.
Tyler Dawson scored a last-ditch try and Antony Chilton added the conversion as York Acorn U13s won 18-14 at Westgate.
Acorn had twice gone ahead through tries by Chilton and prop James Mountford, with Chilton adding two goals, but Westgate hit back to lead 14-12 before Dawson's late winner.
Strong performances came from Mathew Winn, Josh Peacock, Chilton and man of the match Josh Mortimer.
New Earswick U11s put on their best performance of the season to beat Hunslet Parkside 46-12.
Jack Butler was man of the match, run close by two-try Tom Holmes, while other try-scorers were Liam Davidson (2), Jack Miller, Rob Graham, Mike Husband and Jacob Maddison, with Mikey Wharrem adding the goals.
Man of the match Spencer Mitchell scored two tries and a goal as Heworth U10s beat Whinmoor 32-6.
Most improved player Billy Legg and top tackler Flannan Naismith also scored braces while Liam Jackson got a try and Harry Deighton a goal in a good all-round team display.
Selby Warriors U10s played their best first half of the season but a poor second half saw them lose 22-12 to Milford.
It was 6-6 at half-time, Spooner scoring Selby's try and conversion, but Milford benefited from Selby mistakes after the break, including the late sending-off of Spooner, though that preceded the Warriors' second try, scored by Mills and converted by man of the match Howard.
New Earswick U9s pipped Heworth in an exciting game.
Heworth were soundly beaten the last time the sides met but were much better this time, with James Dunhill scoring two tries and skipper Liam Forshaw one, while Joseph Jackson was top tackler and Jack Garrity man of the match.
