YORK City Knights have missed out on a bumper pay-day in the Powergen Challenge Cup fourth round, being paired away to National League One club Oldham.
The draw, made last night, also means the Knights will be the underdogs. However, chairman Roger Dixon said: "We'll look forward to our day and do the best we can," he said. "We've got as good a chance as any visitors to Oldham.
"It will be an interesting encounter and it's a game that's winnable."
Oldham - who have won one and lost two of their Northern Rail Cup group games, including a defeat to the Knights' NL2 rivals Swinton - reached the fourth round by beating amateurs Sharlston 46-14.
Elsewhere, there are three all-Super League ties, while amateur side Wath Brow's reward for beating Dewsbury is a trip to Toulouse.
Knights coaches Mick Cook, Daryl Powell and Jason Ramshaw will be conducting a coaching clinic on behalf of the rugby league North Yorkshire Service Area tomorrow from 7pm at Heworth ARLC.
The course is free of charge and open to anyone interested. Contact the Knights office on 01904 758234 for more details.
