SCARBOROUGH bounced back from their 4-0 mauling at Gravesend to sink Nationwide Conference basement club Leigh RMI 3-0 at the McCain Stadium.
Tyrone Thompson impressed throughout with his surging runs and he provided Chris Senior with the cross which the little striker converted at the second attempt just before half time.
In the second half Kevin Nicholson produced a string of dangerous corners and free kicks which the Leigh defence just couldn't handle, resulting in close range efforts from Colin Cryan and Mark Hotte adding to the scoreline
Scott Kerr also hit the bar and but for the splendid performance of goalkeeper Jon Worsnop in the visitors goal, the scoreline would have been far more emphatic.
Andy Roscoe was sent off seven minutes from time for Leigh, for seeming to aim a kick at Ashley Lyth as he lay on the floor.
