WATCH out, Beadle's about in York next Thursday.
Television personality Jeremy Beadle, of You've Been Framed fame, will be the guest of the Bank of Scotland at a business charity quiz night at the Hilton Hotel, in Tower Street, York.
As patron of Reach, the association for children with hand or arm deficiency, he will play quizmaster to 150 delegates from York businesses, including the bank's customers, accountants, solicitors and financial advisers.
He hopes to raise more than £5,000 through the event for the charity.
Mr Beadle, pictured, has Poland's Syndrome, which affects people's chests and hands.
Keith Humphreys, manager of new business for the bank's York corporate centre, said that his son, Lewis, had the same syndrome.
He said: "I met Jeremy at Reach's annual meeting in Dublin in October and when I asked him to help he immediately accepted. He does an immense amount of fundraising to help support and advise those afflicted and their relatives."
The Bank of Scotland is sponsoring the event, and there will be 34 teams, each of them making a donation.
If anyone wants to support the night, they can phone Mr Humphreys on 01904 881284.
