I thank the hunt supporters who "held-up" the Whitby to Pickering train at the weekend.

I say to them:

Thank you for showing us what a base idiocy we are dealing with.

You have shown you are not worth listening to, or dealing with in a reasonable manner.

You have shown you are arrogant thugs who think the laws of this land are only in place for others.

You have shown public safety is of no consequence to you.

You have shown you are no longer to be taken seriously, but should be treated like the criminal, anti-social element you are.

Your day is over now so bow out gracefully. Have the decency to accept the laws of this land and behave like respectable citizens.

Otherwise, have the decency not to complain when you are put in prison for the good of the public.
