RAPIDLY expanding York Cleaning Angels has won a contract to provide the office cleaning for Combined Insurance's training centre on Clifton Moor.
York Cleaning Angels were formed 18 months ago by Diane Potter and Shaun Canner and from an office in Rawcliffe covers a 20-mile radius of York.
The new contract involves ten hours cleaning a week at the training centre in Lysander Close, Clifton Moor.
It adds to a growing portfolio of office contracts, all of them in Petergate, York, including Jackson Stops and Staff, Lawton Lettings, Community Service Volunteers building and Currans Insurance.
The two friends had previously worked as office managers, Sean for an estate agent, and Diane for a letting agent.
Initially, they provided cleaning for landlords at the end of tenancies. This has expanded to include office and domestic cleaning.
Diane said: "York Cleaning Angels has grown due to the quality of our product at the point of delivery."
Shaun said: "We have already exceeded our new business targets for the first six months of 2005 we are now actively recruiting additional staff in order to meet our contracted requirements and are looking forward to further expansion and success."
