New Earswick All Blacks ARLC Under-12s were back to their best and proved their dominance of their division with a 42-4 hammering of Harehills.

Man of the match Louis Pool got four tries, with centre Joe Dey (2), loose-forward Joel Johnson, Liam Dawson and Dean Layton also crossing, Layton adding three goals. Adam Johnson also impressed.

A controlled display saw York Acorn U14s wallop Batley Boys 56- 10.

Man of the match was prop Oliver Hare, while the excellent Dave Magson and Nathan Potter linked superbly at half-back. Try-scorers were Danny Lee (2), Grant Spain (2), Billy Clint (2), Danny Leahy, Potter, Jack Powell, Kyle Illingworth, Hare and Thomas Wadsworth.

Error-strewn York Acorn U13s were knocked out of the Yorkshire Cup by East Leeds, 24-4. The first half was even with Acorn trailing 8-4, Tyler Dawson getting their try, but East Leeds capitalised on unforced errors in the second period. Man of the match was Stuart Leeke.

A brilliant display saw Selby Warriors U12s defeat Drighlington 42-18.

New signings and fringe players impressed and tries came from James Morris, Jimmy Brace, with their first for the club, Stevie Bell, Josh Skilbeck, man of the match Danny Bate and top tackler Connor Smith, who was coach's choice. Bate, Smith and Bell added goals, while most improved player was Michael Green.

Selby Warriors U10s lost 22-10 to Knottingley Knights.

Skipper Mills, the top tackler, and player of the month Spooner got tries, with Gaunt converting one, as Selby led 10-4 at the break, but Knottingley. aided by the weather, turned it round.

Selby's man of the match was Parkin, most improved was Burton and coaches' choice was Millin.

Man of the match Daniel Coulson scored two tries and one goal as Heworth U10s beat Dewsbury Celtic 30-14.

Other tries were shared by Harry Deighton, Thomas Atkinson, Liam Jackson, Spencer Mitchell and Peter Clarke. Top tackler was Ben Barker and most improved player was Connor McBain.
