IN response to your report 'Celebration for VE Day' (March 2), I ask why July 10, two months after the event?
I wonder if Tony Blair's election is involved in the plan to put back the date of these important celebrations. Will VJ Day celebrations be put back two months?
Do we celebrate Christmas on February 25 or Remembrance Day on January 11? I don't think so.
D-Day has been celebrated for 60 years on June 6, so why can't we get the celebration on the date of VE Day, May 8?
