SCARBOROUGH will be looking to put a spanner in Crawley Town's Conference promotion hopes at the McCain Stadium on Saturday (3pm) - if the game beats the weather.
The Sussex club have surprised many people in their maiden Conference season and occupy third spot.
Boro coach Nicky Henry said: "They are very strong at home and we just hope that they don't travel too well."
Henry is sweating on the fitness of his two most experienced players, both of whom have calf strains.
David Reeves missed the 1-0 defeat at Stevenage on Saturday while Neil Redfearn lasted just over half an hour.
"They are both doubtful but they are getting better, it's just a question of whether there is enough time to get them right."
Henry added: "One thing is for sure they are both experienced professionals and will not play unless they are 100 per cent."
The McCain Stadium pitch was waterlogged yesterday and the game will only go ahead if the pitch passes an inspection today.
Henry brought in two players on trial this week with a view to bolstering the thin squad.
Midfielder Ashley Hildred, 21, was released from Grimsby Town in January after failing to impress former Boro boss Russell Slade, while Leeds United reserve striker Damian Reeves looks set to sign on loan.
Scarborough: Keen, Lyth, Baker, Kerr, Thompson, Pounder, Walker, Hackworth, Hotte, Coulson, Nicholson, Foot, Senior, Cryan, Reeves, Redfearn.
