I REFER to the publication of the order about the Straylands Grove rising bollard in the Evening Press on February 14.

Because Woodlands Grove and Straylands Grove are on a bus route, I am surprised to see buses are not on the list of vehicles exempted from the prohibition of driving. Because taxis, too, are normally allowed to use bus lanes I should have thought they would also have been exempt. I understand these vehicles cannot now be added to the list so I suggest the order is incomplete.

I shall be objecting, mainly because of the extra distance it puts on drivers' journeys. By doing so it breaches the Government's efforts to comply with the Kyoto pollution reduction agreement.
