Richard Quinn, who started his racing career in Ryedale, could well be the jockey to follow at Lingfield tomorrow.
The canny Scot has good prospects of a treble on Gulchina, Kathology and Jennverse.
The last named, trained by Dean Ivory, took Quinn to victory at Lingfield a fortnight ago, winning comfortably by a length and a half from Feminist.
The three-year-old tackles the same distance of six furlongs tomorrow in the Littlewoods Pools Be Lucky Handicap and is napped to follow-up.
Quinn, whose first job in racing was with former Norton trainer Herbert Jones more than 20 years ago, teams-up with trainer David Elsworth on his other two fancied mounts.
Gulchina, who goes for the betdirect.co.uk Maiden Stakes, was a beaten favourite on this course last month but ran respectably in defeat to finish third to Inside Story.
She is worth another chance here, stepping-up an extra furlong to a mile.
Kathology, a stalwart of the Elsworth team, runs in the Littlewoods Pools Claiming Stakes.
Now eight-years-old and not the force he once was, Kathology, a former high-class handicapper, still has enough ability to be competitive in this lowly grade. He has won on this course.
Despite the widespread Arctic weather, hopes are high at Doncaster that tomorrow's jumping fixture will go-ahead as planned.
Lambourn trainer Merrick Francis, son of famous author Dick, saddles Fard Du Moulin Mas in the Dove Ings Handicap Hurdle. The 12-year-old defied his age, and a host of training problems in recent years, to win on this course last month. There appeared to be no fluke about that performance.
Tomorrow's tips:
