There is no change at the top of Division Two as all the leading contenders prevailed.

Leaders Heslington won 2-1 but struggled to overcome a lively Poppleton side that played the last half an hour with ten men. Heslington's leading scorer Simon Gatenby opened the scoring in the first half and Danny Walters doubled the lead before Chris Balmer replied late on for Poppleton.

Second-placed Ouseburn hit three goals in the first six minutes at Barmby Moor as they went on to win 7-0.

Richard Dwight, scoring for the third straight game, hit three; Darren Horsfield bagged his fourth brace of the term and Stuart Ramsey and Mathew Crowl also scored.

Third-placed Tockwith moved four points clear of Amotherby after beating them 2-0 at home. Graham Hutchinson and Andy Wilson were on target for Tockwith.

Strensall moved out of the relegation zone after winning a bad tempered game 2-1 at home to Civil Service. Matty Brown gave the hosts a half-time lead which was cancelled out by an Alex Ingram header but Shaun Carn hit the winner for Strensall five minutes from time.

Fulford had to come from a goal down to beat visitors Riccall 2-1 and win their first home game in six attempts. Gary Roughley had given Riccall an early lead but second half goals from Dave Aldridge and Steve Cooper won the day for Fulford.

Elvington, whose cup distractions clinched an East Riding Cup semi-final for the third year running, marked only their third league game of the year by beating Stillington 4-0 through Luke Dove (2), Adam Hetherton and Adam Robertson.
