IN response to plans to open the Barbican Centre for Ascot.
I would like to know why a very good arena that was built for concerts and other large gatherings was closed in the first place.
Local people like to support where they live but how can you when arenas are closed? You have to go elsewhere to see concerts and shows.
Thank goodness the opera house can provide a good venue for shows and concerts.
It is hypocritical to open the Barbican just because of Royal Ascot.
