YORK Opera needs men. The society is well into music rehearsals for the June production of Cavalleria Rusticana and I Pagliacci at York Theatre Royal, but there is still room in the chorus for more tenors and basses.
Pauline Marshall, of York Opera, says: "These operas are a really good sing for the chorus, especially the famous Easter Hymn from Cavalleria Rusticana, and the sound being produced in rehearsals is very exciting."
