AN AWARD-WINNING company is making light work of a heavy contract.

Scenecraft UK, of Easingwold, has designed an promotional car to launch For Goodness Shakes!, a new high-energy milkshake for athletic types.

Rosie Ellis, 24, who won the 2004 Evening Press Young Business Entrepreneur of the Year, and her Scenecraft UK partner, Matthew East, 25, equipped a little Corsa with a "heavy load".

They designed a boulder, a huge pallet of bricks and a massive tray of For Goodness Shakes to festoon the vehicle, which will visit supermarket car parks up and down the country over the Easter holiday.

People will be invited to taste the promotional drink then, powered by its goodness, lift the "heavyweight" items.

They will also get a little help from Rosie and Matthew, both former Teesside University graduates with degrees in entertainment design crafts.

Rosie said: "Actually, the boulder is made of lightweight hollow fibreglass, the realistic bricks are made from a lightweight foam and the tray is laden with empty For Goodness Shakes bottles.

She said: "We've proved that there is another string to our bow, and the boulder is a sort of milestone which proves that our business has taken a mighty surge over the past year. It's very exciting.

"I can't reveal exactly how much this contract was worth, but it is one of the bigger ones we have undertaken. It has also allowed us to exercise our best talents."

Rosie and Matthew formed their company in January 2003 after finding that most scenic design firms were London-based.

Jeremy Martin, co-founder of My Goodness! Ltd, said: "Rosie and Matthew have done a truly fantastic job, achieving everything we wanted with a narrow deadline of only four days. We shall be returning to them because we are looking to build a fleet of promotional vehicles."
