I SEEM to be one of a lucky few to have been officially notified of a plan to put up a mobile phone transmitter mast at the junction of Melrosegate and Tang Hall Lane.
My neighbours on the other side of the street - and doubtless many other people living locally who would like to know - have not been told.
This is a crazy place to put a mast: halfway between two primary schools and just up the road from a nursery, when research shows children are the worst affected by microwave radiation.
To say nothing of the fact none of us will be able to sell our houses again, with this overgrown dalek staring down.
Anyone wishing to object needs to contact the planning office at 9, St Leonard's Place by 3rd March. There's also a petition they can sign in local shops.

Second Avenue, York.
