SUDDABY'S LTD, the Malton-based and privately owned hospitality and brewing services company, has captured major awards in the 2005 SIBA (Society of Independent Brewers Association) Northern Beer Competition held at Stockport.
Against tough competition from some of the biggest names in the brewing world, Suddaby's marched away with first prize in bottled beers category with its Suddaby's Auld Bob and took second place in the Porter, Old Ales and Stout category sponsored by Thomas Fawcett and Sons with its Suddaby's After Dark Coffee Porter.
Neil Suddaby, managing director, said: "This is great news for the whole team at Suddaby's. Last year was a year of great change for us.
"This is the icing on the cake for what has been a very successful year for our business."
