Ouseburn moved within two points of Leeper Hare York and District League division two leaders Heslington after beating Stillington at home 4-0.

Darren Horsfield with his ninth of goal the season and Richard Dwight with his seventh of the campaign gave Ouseburn the early advantage, which was then increased with goals from Mathew Crowl and Russell Robshaw.

White Horse Church Fenton missed the chance to close in on the leaders when they were held to a 1-1 draw at Civil Service. A Matty Topham free kick gave the hosts a half time lead but White Horse salvaged a point with a Simon Ashton strike eight minutes from time.

Tockwith stretched their unbeaten run to 12 games as they won 1-0 at Riccall. There were plenty of goals in the other two games and in both matches the beaten sides were leading 3-1 midway through the first period before going into the interval at 3-3.

Amotherby eventually won 7-3 at home to Strensall, Bob Brewer reclaiming the division's leading goalscorer position as he added five of the goals. Simon Wall and Darren Barrett chipped in with a goal apiece.

For Strensall, Chris Stansfield curled one from 25 yards, Stuart Ross scored direct from a corner and Mick Pipe scored direct from a pass from his keeper.

Poppleton won for the first time in 11 games as they defeated visitors Barmby Moor 8-3.

Goals from Robbie Pipe, an own goal and Mick Barker gave Strensall the early lead but Poppleton hit back through James Barrett (3), Danny Barrett (2), Craig Suttle, Andy Mercer and Craig Theaker.
