THIS week I went to the most moving and powerful performance I have seen in a theatre for a long time.
Con O'Neil in Telstar at York's Grand Opera House, performed the most convincing descent into madness and ultimate suicide to the point I was convinced he wasn't in the real world when he took his well deserved bow at the end of the play.
His performance deserves an award.
I am not a judge for the Olivier awards so the only thing I can do is offer this glowing report and hope I see Con win recognition for this very special performance.
