NORTH YORKSHIRE yoga teacher Amanda Latchmore stretched herself to raise money for victims of the devastating tsunami in Sri Lanka.
Her 11-hour "yogathon" at the Friends' Meeting House, Queen Parade, Harrogate, last Sunday raised about £3,000.
Amanda, of Harrogate, has taught at a yoga retreat on Sri Lanka, called Ulpotha Sanctuary.
It has set up a charity, called LankaRealAid, to help victims of the tsunmai.
Donations can be sent to LankaRealAid via the yogathon fund. Cheques should be made payable to S.Thewlis Tsunami Fund and sent to Yogathon, 31 Westgate, Wetherby LS22 6NH.
Cyclopes Electronics has raised more than £800 for the tsunami appeal by organising a raffle for customers and associates.
The draw was due to take place at 3pm today, at the company's offices at the Link Business Park, in Osbaldwick, York.
