BOOTHAM Conservative Club 'A' team increased their lead in division one of York and District Table Tennis League with a 10-0 win over Groves WMC 'B'.
Bootham appear to be unstoppable at this stage of the season as matches are beginning to run out.
Second-placed Holgate WMC 'A' went down 7-3 to Coneysthorpe 'A', with York's new men's singles champion champion Martin Lowe unbeaten.
There were three wins each for Paul Noutch and Rich Crowther as third-placed York RI 'A' trounced their 'C' team, second bottom in the table, by 9-1.
Richard Moss was unbeaten and Mark Hughes played well to win two as Poppleton 'A' beat Sessions 'A' 6-4.
Stephen Robinson and John Hughes each scored three wins as York RI 'B' beat Poppleton 'B' 8-2. York RI 'B' then beat their 'C' team 9-1, with Hughes and Mark Blackburn unbeaten.
The division two title race is a close affair, with the four leading teams in the running to win.
Leaders Holgate WMC 'B' went down 6-4 to rivals Nestl Rowntree 'A', whose Dave Lamb easily won all his games.
Another three wins by Lamb helped Nestl Rowntree 'A' beat Sessions 'B' 7-3.
Bootham Conservative Club 'B', in second place, had a 9-1 win over BT 'B', Richard Ingleby and Peter Mills each winning three.
Ian Castle won all three for York RI 'D' in a 7-3 win over York RI 'E'.
Sessions 'B' beat a two-man Poppleton 'C' team 7-3, Chris Armstrong winning all three for Poppleton.
Northern Electric beat Poppleton 'C' 7-3, with Richard Bowman unbeaten for Poppleton.
Dave Norville of BT 'A' won all his singles as his team beat Poppleton 'D' 8-2. Matthew Ayres won two for Poppleton.

Holgate WMC 'C', in second place, beat Shepherds 'C' 9-1, John Temple and Simon Prins each winning three for Holgate.
Malcolm Haswell won three for Coneysthorpe 'B' in a 7-3 victory over Shepherds 'B'.
John Lloyd and Richard Collier were unbeaten for Poppleton 'E' as they beat Shepherds 'A' 5-4.
Three wins from Ken Robson helped York RI 'G' to a 7-3 win over Holgate WMC 'D'. Dom Ainger and Nathan Horsley won two each for RI and Steve Wands won two for Holgate.
There was a shock defeat for division four leaders Groves WMC 'D', beaten 6-4 by a two-man York RI 'J' side. James Plowman and Laurence Hoolison each won three for RI.
Poppleton 'F', in second place, had an 8-2 win over Shepherds 'D', Tom Wright winning three for Poppleton.
Chris Megone was unbeaten for York RI 'H' as they beat their 'I' team 8-2.
Luke Blackburn and Dennis Chapman each won three for York RI 'H' in a 9-1 win over Poppleton 'G'.
