Joining forces with a key client to paint a community workshop proved a master-stroke for Trident Communication's York office.
The recent day-long Cares Challenge gave the Trident squad, pictured, the chance to work alongside client Yorkshire Water's internal communications department.
The project started early. By 8am, the two groups were gathering at the Kirkgate Community Centre, in Bradford, armed with cleaning materials, paint and rollers. The mission: to transform a dusty ceramics studio, used by people of all physical and mental abilities, that had not seen a lick of paint for 20 years. The dab-handed bunch painted walls, doors, ducting and ceiling before putting up new shelving for the pottery exhibits.
By 5pm it was mission accomplished. The charity was delighted and presented Trident with a handmade bowl which now has pride of place in the company's meeting room.
