TOWER Place residents can imagine the commentary.
"Welcome, ladies and gentleman, to the York Eye. As we swing high up into the air, to your left you can see the majestic sweep of the city, featuring the historic Clifford's Tower, the Bar Walls, and of course, Europe's largest Gothic cathedral, York Minster.
"And to your right you can see Moyra Johnson hanging out her washing..."
Understandably Mrs Johnson and her neighbours are none too keen on the idea. Their views must carry weight when the Big Wheel hops on York's planning merry-go-round.
