AS a parent irresponsible enough to have three children, I feel I am better qualified to comment about family needs than Mr Enticknap ("Family friendly policies are going too far", Letters, January 31).
Obviously this man feels bitterness towards the younger generation. Thank goodness most people don't think like him.
I see children as a precious gift and their needs must come first because they are our future.
Perhaps I may briefly see Mr Enticknap at the handbasket section of the supermarket, while I load my two trollies of shopping and watch my children at the same time.
In years to come it may be my children who serve him at the shops and restaurants he visits or is he paying too much tax for the likes of me to do these things?
